
Objectives:
· Assist individual in setting re-entry goals and developing a re-entry plan.
· Support individual in pursuing re-entry plan including finding housing, job, and other strategies.
· Identifying community resources to assist in re-entry.
· Advocating for the individual with community resources or with the PUFL team.
· Participate in routine training sessions.
· Communicate with group facilitators, other mentors/ advocates, coordinators, and other PUFL staff.
· Serves as an ambassador for the organization and promotes a positive image/ reputation of the ministry.
Qualifications (required, desired):
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Good listening skills.
· Available by phone and Internet.
· Valid
· No previous felony convictions: subject to criminal background check.
Time commitment: (hours/week; time of day)
Two hours per week; days or evenings
Work location: Various community locations including PUFL office and jail.
